FUNDRAISING AND FREE ADVERTISING.

This facet is titled HOST A COLLECTION BUCKET.

Host A Collection Bucket is nothing more than the siting of a plastic bucket on the sales counter area adjacent to the till, in order for generous customers to pop spare change into it.

The bucket is sited for 14 consecutive days. In exchange, the retailer secures three months of free advertising and this is extended relative to whatever the total of money that bucket actually collects.

Thus:

The ad' will run for 3 months irrespective of
the amount taken by the bucket. However there are bonuses.

If the bucket takes £5 or more, the amount of time that host business is advertised increases substantially.

£00.00 - £04.99..................................3 months
£05.00 - £09.99..................................6 months
£10.00 - £14.99................................12 months
£15.00 - £19.99................................24 months
£20.00 - £29.99................................36 months
£30.00 - £39.99................................48 months
£40.00 - £49.00................................60 months

£50.00 and over 10 years (120 months) minimum.

Any retail business operating anywhere, with a reasonable throughput of customers can partake of this facet. Essentially, your customers fund SRE and you get the advertising and promotion benefits.

This works well too for businesses which are not on line. Instead of a live link, such businesses will get an A7 size ad' of text, compiled by SRE, which will include business name, address and contact details plus a short description.

All that is asked is the business owner, manager or other responsible person, removes and stores monies taken, leaving a residual couple of pounds in the bucket for each trading day. This reduces the chance of theft. If monies are lost via theft or whatever other reason, SRE will give 6 months advertising as described, with no obligation on that business regarding the sum lost.

When the month is up, the total taken is then converted into a cheque or Postal Order and returned to SRE. If a LloydsTSB Bank is located near at hand, monies can be paid in directly at that branch. Details will be supplied for this.

The collection bucket is simply a standard 5 litre plastic receptacle which has an attached poster advising what the collection is for. If near to SRE's base in North Wales, the bucket will be delivered. If not, it will be posted out to the business offering to host.
