STONECAT RURAL ENTERPRISES (SRE) is a multi-faceted not for profit business specializing in the production and donation of willow and poplar saplings to tree planting enthusiasts across the UK. It also harvests naturally sown saplings of other deciduous and coniferous tree species from brown field sites before development takes place, with the consent of such developers.  It is based on the North Wales coast at Rhos on Sea, with a developing secondary base near Llangollen in south Denbighshire. It also engages in the distribution of low cost Bluebell bulbs and Wild Garlic bulbs (Ramsons), harvested from its own privately managed woodlands in North Wales; bulbs are harvested to increase bluebell distribution across the UK and for the creation of SRE satellite colonies in the general North Wales area.
